This is an interview about the breaking up of a band by the name of My Chemical Romance. This us a band that for years made a name for themselves as the Punk Rock band. They are known as one of the best bands in there genera, and the lead singer of a much younger band by the name of Black Vail Brides, talk about how Gerard Way, the lead singer of MCR was an inspiration to him and that his was a rare talent and the world need more men like him. He then goes on to talk about how the band inspired a lot of the music that they do and the videos to them. they talk about how Andy Shares didn't like MCR at first because they had too many fans but when he started listening to them he was instantly inspired and this inspired his band to do what they do now.
Now getting down to the technical terms of the interview. The questions asked in this interview was very suggestive and direct. This was to get the answers from Andy and get the discussion going. then the questions turned direct as the interviewer asked him about the band and the way that Andy may have felt toward them. The actual questions themselves were mostly open questions. this was to allow Andy to express himself in the answers and show real feeling toward the band.
In another technical use, The structure of the interview was done well, this was because at the beginning of the interview it talks about how Andy likes Gerard and how he respects him, They then talk about Andy's childhood and the way the music he listened to, and then they talk about how MCR inspired him and his band to do what they do and how they do there music videos. The actual style of the interview itself would be investigative but also promotional. this is because they talk about MCR and the way that Andy was influenced by MCR and this made them do the music they do and the way that the record there music videos.
The journalistic context of the interview was more emotional with a hint of television. This was because the content of the interview touche Andy and you could see that the words he was using and the thought he had put into using them was very emotional and the theme was very sensitive. This was because MCR inspired him and he is the man he is today because of them. This leads onto my final point about the actual interview content. The context was very expressing, emotional and explaining opinion. this was all because of the structure of the interview and the way that the interviewer engaged with the audience and the way that they made the interview a lot more interesting.
